1. Do not leave the coffee shop until it’s just the way you like it. Life is too short for bitter coffee, and people.

2. Keep a dream journal. You may not be a writer but the reality your body creates while you’re temporarily paralyzed is far more interesting then most classical pieces.

3. People will claim to hate you for no reason. You didn’t do anything wrong. Send them love. If it doesn’t work, it’s because they are broken and don’t know how to receive it.

4. You’ll get pissed off at your mom for not letting you do what you want. Relax. The pain she feels watching you go out the door is even more intense then when you were being pushed through her pelvis.

5. Stop spending time planning adventures. Get in your car with people that scream beautiful music and go. Drive until you find a view that fills your bones with butterflies and forces you to think of the person you love, hopefully they are there with you.

wanderlust freedom adventure rules to live by

"Have you ever heard the wonderful silence just before the dawn? Or the quiet and calm just as a storm ends? Or perhaps you know the silence when you haven’t the answer to a question you’ve been asked, or the hush of a country road at night, or the expectant pause of a room full of people when someone is just about to speak, or, most beautiful of all, the moment after the door closes and you’re alone in the whole house? Each one is different, you know, and all very beautiful if you listen carefully."
